Torrance Center for Creativity and Talent Development presents the 2023 Torrance Festival of Ideas THE STEALTH OCCUPATION OF HOLLYWOOD - Roger Stahl We’ve always known that the Pentagon and CIA lend a hand to Hollywood to gain some leverage over the story. A vast tranche of new documentation, however, reveals these agencies have exerted editorial control over thousands of film and TV scripts. Dr. Roger Stahl is a professor of communication studies at the University of Georgia. He specializes in rhetoric and media, particularly the role played by the entertainment industries in the history of war propaganda.
