Documentaire / ReportageLe Nouveau Testament contient quatre Évangiles supposément rédigés par les apôtres Mathieu, Marc, Luc et Jean. Ces textes racontent la vie et la mort de Jésus de Nazareth. Aujourd'hui, de nouvelles découvertes ont révélé l'existence d'autres évangiles. Au cours de fouilles archéologiques, le long des allées obscures des marchés noirs, au sein de laboratoires universitaires, les " Évangiles perdus " - ceux de Thomas, Judas, et Marie - refont surface et dévoilent un autre visage du Christ. Ces textes anciens sont soumis à des tests - Carbone 14, paléographie, analyse isotopique - pour déterminer leur âge et leur authenticité et découvrir pourquoi ils ont été " perdus ". Ce faisant, nous apprenons l'existence de " messies rivaux " de Jésus et de fortes dissensions internes parmi les apôtres... des secrets longtemps enfouis afin d'assurer le " triomphe " de Mathieu, Marc, Luc et Jean.
